Registered Nurse - Perioperative Services

Position Title: Registered Nurse – Perioperative (Anaesthetics, PACU & Scrub/Scout)

Location: Operating Theatre – Footscray Hospital

Employment Status: Full-Time or Part-Time, Ongoing

Salary per hour (exc. super): $43.82 - $54.41

Hours per fortnight: Up to 76

Contract: Fixed Term Part Time or Full Time

Key responsibilities:

- Ensure safe and high quality, evidence-based patient care is planned and delivered that is in line with Western Health values.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure best care for patients.
- Promote and maintain a positive workplace culture that supports teamwork.

About you:

- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in the role of Scrub Scout is essential
- Experience in General, Plastics, Ear Nose & Throat or oral maxis essential
- Ability to work a rotating roster (mix of AM and PM shifts)
- Ability to be available for weekend on-call




- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded but not essential

Entitlements:

- Salary setting range: AUD $82,236 - $103,280 per year, plus super and entitlements.
