Bookings & Customer Service Co-Ordinator

Hunter Haulage Australia specialises in container transport across regional NSW and interstate. We’re looking for an experienced, organised person to take ownership of customer bookings and provide responsive, reliable customer service.

About the role

Working closely with our Managing Director, you will:

- Manage customer booking enquiries by phone and email.
- Enter and update transport jobs in Freight Tracker.
- Use OneStop to manage container and wharf booking requirements.
- Follow email correspondence, identify updated instructions and chase missing information or documents.
- Confirm bookings, acknowledge documents and keep customers informed.
- Liaise with customers, drivers and our operations team about job requirements and progress.
- Keep the shared inbox organised and follow outstanding enquiries through to completion.

About you

You’re comfortable managing your workload independently and taking responsibility for following things through. You communicate clearly,



respond promptly and know when to resolve an issue yourself or involve the operations team.

You’ll need:

- Previous experience in transport bookings or transport customer service.
- Experience using OneStop.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- The ability to interpret detailed email trails and changing customer instructions.
- Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to stay productive, accessible and responsive while working from home.

Freight Tracker experience is highly desirable. Container transport experience will also be highly regarded.
