About the Company

FRC Design and Construction is a design and construction company based in Sydney, NSW. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Draftsperson to join our team and assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, technical documentation and construction plans for building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
- Develop and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant drafting software.
- Assist architects and building designers in preparing design concepts, working drawings and technical specifications.
- Prepare drawings and supporting documentation for development applications and building approvals.
- Interpret architectural plans, building specifications, the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, builders and other construction professionals.
- Conduct site measurements and verify existing building conditions when required.
- Review and update drawings based on project requirements, design changes and consultant feedback.
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical documentation issues.




- Maintain accurate project drawing records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

- Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, Building Design or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in architectural drafting and construction documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent drafting software.
- Understanding of construction methods, building materials and architectural detailing.
- Knowledge of Australian building regulations and relevant industry standards is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Good communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
