The Rocks Mornington is looking for a motivated, passionate and recently qualified Chef de Partie to join our fun, supportive and dynamic kitchen team!
Located right on one of the Mornington Peninsula’s beautiful beaches, The Rocks is a bustling, family-friendly dining destination known for great food, fresh seafood and a welcoming atmosphere.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a close-knit team and is eager to continue developing their skills in a busy kitchen. Whether you're recently qualified or have some hands-on kitchen experience, we’d love to hear from you!
What we're looking for:
- A passion for quality food, fresh ingredients and seasonal produce, particularly seafood
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
- The ability to maintain consistent food quality and high kitchen standards
- Good organisation, communication and time-management skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen environment
- A professional approach to food preparation, presentation and kitchen practices
- An interest in current food trends and a desire to bring new ideas to the table
Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred but not essential. We’re happy to provide on-the-job training and support the right person in building their confidence and skills.
