Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our integrated car detailing and café business. The successful candidate will coordinate workflows between the car care and hospitality teams, supervise front-of-house and operational staff, manage stock and food/automotive suppliers, monitor sales performance across both sectors, and maintain high standards of customer service and workplace safety.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

- Oversee daily retail, café, and car detailing operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, product availability, and high customer satisfaction standards across all touchpoints. Manage purchasing and stock levels for both café supplies (food/beverage) and car detailing products/equipment, coordinating with vendors and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Develop and implement sales, marketing, and promotional strategies tailored to both the café and car wash services to support revenue growth and customer engagement.
- Monitor sales performance across departments and assist with pricing decisions by reviewing sales data, foot traffic, and market conditions.
- Provide friendly customer service, handle product and service enquiries, and resolve any customer feedback or complaints in a professional manner.




- Supervise, train, and roster car detailing, café, and front-of-house staff, ensuring team members perform their duties effectively and adhere to workplace and hygiene standards.
- Maintain financial and operational records, monitor business expenses, and assist management with budgeting, reporting, and point-of-sale (POS) reconciliation.
- Ensure strict compliance with workplace health, safety (WHS), and food safety requirements, maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented customer lounge, café, and wash bay environment.

Essential Criteria

- AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or higher qualification, or an equivalent qualification relevant to business management, retail, or hospitality.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail, hospitality, or multi-service business management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse sales information and implement practical strategies to improve business performance.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and make effective operational decisions.
