Chef de Partie – Southeast Asian Cuisine (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a Southeast Asian restaurant in Lane Cove, NSW.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of kitchen experience and a strong passion for preparing high-quality Southeast Asian cuisine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their assigned kitchen section, assisting with menu development, preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the assigned kitchen section to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with menu planning, development, and improvement, with a focus on Southeast Asian cuisine.
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain food quality, presentation, portion control, and consistency.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised,



and safe kitchen environment.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during food preparation and service.
- Assist with general kitchen management and daily operational tasks.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of kitchen experience.
- Ability to work full time, five days per week, including weekends.
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of professional kitchen operations.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
