Casual Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher – Sydney Airport

Location: Sydney International Airport (T1)
Employment Type: Casual | Rotating Shifts (6.30am - 2.30pm & 2pm - 10pm)

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join a busy, premium international airport lounge at Sydney Airport.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a quick-paced commercial kitchen and be confident managing a busy dishwashing section.

Responsibilities

- Washing dishes, cutlery, glassware, cookware and kitchen equipment.

- Operating commercial dishwashers efficiently during busy service periods.

- Maintaining clean, organised and hygienic dishwashing and kitchen areas.

- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, equipment and floors.

- Managing waste disposal and following food safety standards.

- Assisting with general kitchen cleaning and organisation.





Your Profile

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher in a busy commercial kitchen is essential.

- Confident handling high volumes of dishes during peak service.

- Experience using commercial dishwashing equipment.

- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety procedures.

- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently under pressure.

- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.

- Ability to meet airport security clearance requirements.
