About the role

We're looking for a Service Manager to lead the Service Centre at our Rocklea branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll run the workshop day to day — planning and scheduling servicing and repair work, allocating jobs, coordinating technicians and external contractors, and making sure every job is completed safely, properly and on time.

This is a hands-on role, not a desk job. You'll be on the tools when the work calls for it: diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs and rectification work, backing up your technicians on the complex jobs, and personally signing off on quality checks before a van goes back to its owner.

You'll also be the voice of the customer inside the business. You'll work directly with our Parts, Warranty and Supply Chain teams, and with our manufacturing and technical teams overseas, to cut workshop delays, chase down recurring product faults and get them fixed at the source.

What you'll be doing

- Leading the day-to-day running of the Service Centre, including scheduling, job allocation and workshop workflow
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and general caravan and RV faults
- Supporting technicians through complex diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Completing inspections and quality checks before any vehicle is released
- Managing customer service enquiries and keeping customers clearly informed on progress, cost and timeframes




- Handling escalated service matters and complaints professionally
- Coordinating parts requirements to keep jobs moving
- Supporting warranty assessments and rectification work
- Working with our manufacturing and technical teams on recurring product and quality issues
- Leading, coaching and developing the service team, and supporting recruitment as the operation grows
- Maintaining WHS, workshop and compliance standards

What you'll bring

- Proven hands-on experience in caravan, RV, automotive, marine or similar servicing and repair environments
- Solid mechanical and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience leading, scheduling and coordinating a workshop or service team
- Understanding of warranty assessment, parts coordination and rectification processes
- Strong customer communication skills, including handling complaints and escalations
- Sound working knowledge of WHS and workshop safety requirements
- Organised and proactive, able to prioritise multiple jobs to deadlines
- A current Australian driver licence, and competence with Microsoft Office and job management systems
- A trade qualification in automotive, auto-electrical, RV or a related field is highly regarded
