We are seeking a qualified Support Worker to join our remarkable team. If you have a genuine desire to make difference and work with people living with disability in all ages and background, we would love to hear from you!

We are recruiting staff in these Locations: Yarrawonga, Mulwala

Duties and Responsibilities

· Domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry

· Personal care and personal hygiene

· Social and community participation

· Must be flexible and able to work on varied shifts

· Independent living skill development

Skills and Experience

· Strong communication skills, both written and oral

· A person-centred approach to supporting people with disability

· Commitment to deliver quality client services

· Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills





· Experience in delivering quality domestic and cleaning services

· Able to maintain a qualified level of relationship with participants

Selection Criteria

· Two contactable referees

· Certificate III or IV in Community Services/Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care or at least 6 months experience working in the disability sector

· Current National Police Check no more than 12 months old

· Current First Aid / CPR Certificate

· Manual Handling Certificate

· Working with Children’s Check

· NDIS Clearance Check

· International Police Check (if applicable)

· Current State / Territory Driver’s License and a registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
