About the Role (Event Coordinator)

Are you upbeat, charismatic, and a natural at bringing people together?

We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and dependable Event Coordinators to lead and host vibrant social events across residential communities in Melbourne. From lively trivia nights and lawn games to casual pizza meet-and-greets and board game afternoons, your primary mission is simple: lead the event, bring the good vibes, and make everyone feel welcome!

You will often be running the show solo for intimate gatherings, or stepping up to guide a small crew for larger community activations.

What You’ll Do

- Host & Facilitate: Welcome residents with genuine warmth, address the group to introduce activities or explain simple game rules, and keep energy levels positive.
- Lead on the Day: Direct and support 1-2 event assistants or helpers at larger events, coordinating tasks across setup, hosting, and pack-down to ensure the session runs smoothly.
- Break the Ice: Help neighbours connect, spark natural conversations, and ensure no one feels left on the sidelines.
- Set Up & Pack Down: Manage straightforward, low-stress setups (arranging lawn games, signage, or light food and drinks) and tidy up post-event alongside your team.
- Capture the Fun: Snap candid photos and short video clips during events to document the community moments.
- Be Part of the Experience: You’re not just standing on the sidelines-you’re an active part of creating a friendly, inclusive, and fun atmosphere!

Who You Are

- A Natural Leader & People Person: Confident, approachable, comfortable speaking in front of groups, and capable of guiding 1-2 team members with clarity and positive energy.
- Reliable & Punctual: You show up on time, well-prepared, and ready to host with enthusiasm.
- Adaptable: You can read the room,



adjust to different social dynamics, and handle minor on-the-day surprises with a calm, can-do attitude.
- Mobile & Melbourne-Based: Based in Melbourne with the ability to travel to different apartment building locations (access to reliable personal transport is a strong advantage).
- Storage Space Available: You have space at home to securely store social equipment (e.g., board games, small fold-out tables, cheeseboards) for easy access when packing for events.
- Experience: Prior experience in event coordination, team leadership, hospitality, MCing, customer service, or community engagement is a strong plus-but your attitude, warmth, and leadership presence matter most!
