Registered Nurse (Mental Health), Adult ADHD Assessments | Part-time Contract
You’ll work alongside the GP in structured adult ADHD assessments, in 40-minute appointments with full patient lists. The GP makes all diagnosis and prescribing decisions, so there’s no prescribing pressure on you.
Key responsibilities
- Taking structured clinical histories and giving rating scales (including ASRS, DASS-21 and WURS-25)
- Reviewing collateral information
- Providing patient education after the GP’s diagnosis
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Mental health nursing experience is preferred (ideally 2–3 years)
- Previous GP experience is also valuable
- An active ABN and your own qualified indemnity insurance
