Experienced Civil Supervisor Role, Bundaberg based, Monday-Friday w/ Car included Your new company Join a well-established and expanding civil construction contractor delivering projects throughout Bundaberg and the wider region. With a strong pipeline of secured residential, commercial and infrastructure work, the business specialises in civil earthworks, drainage, road construction, subdivisions and associated infrastructure projects. Your new role As Civil Supervisor, you will take the lead on site across residential and commercial subdivision projects within the Bundaberg region. Working with subcontractors, operators, direct labour, surveyors and suppliers, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of works and keeping projects progressing safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:Overseeing earthworks, roadworks, storm-water drainage, sewer, water infrastructure, kerb and channel, and associated subdivision worksCoordinating subcontractors, operators, direct labour, plant, materials and deliveriesPlanning daily and weekly construction activitiesMonitoring progress against the programme and identifying potential delaysEnsuring work meets approved drawings, specifications and quality standardsMaintaining site safety, inspections, testing and quality documentationLiaising with project managers, engineers, surveyors, suppliers, clients and subcontractorsReviewing drawings and resolving constructibility or coordination issuesMaintaining accurate records covering labour, plant, deliveries and site progressSupporting project completion,



handover and close-outWhat you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have:Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor, Civil Foreman or in a similar site leadership positionStrong experience delivering residential or commercial subdivision projectsPractical knowledge of earthworks, drainage, sewer, water and road constructionExperience supervising subcontractors and direct labourThe confidence to work autonomously and manage the daily operation of a civil construction siteThe ability to read and interpret civil plans, drawings and specificationsStrong knowledge of construction sequencing and resource coordinationA sound understanding of Queensland workplace health and safety requirementsStrong planning, communication and problem-solving skillsA current Construction White Card and driver's licenceRelevant civil construction qualifications or supervisory training will be highly regarded.
What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive salary expected to be in the range of $120,000-$140,000 plus superannuation and a company vehicle, depending on experience.
