Harmony Specialist Healthcare is an established, family-owned healthcare organisation specialising in the management of complex health conditions.

Our multidisciplinary team includes specialist medical practitioners, psychologists, exercise physiologists and other allied health professionals, working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.

We've recently moved into a brand-new, purpose-built healthcare facility in Mount Annan, designed to provide a welcoming, professional and comfortable environment for our patients and staff.

A Different Kind of Medical Reception

Unlike a typical high-volume GP practice, our specialist medical and allied health appointments generally last between 30 and 60 minutes.

This means fewer patients moving through reception throughout the day, a more manageable flow of arrivals and departures,



and greater opportunities to get to know our patients.

While our clinic is busy and the work is varied, our emphasis is on quality interactions and personalised patient care rather than processing a constant stream of short appointments.

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be an important part of our patients' experience and the smooth day-to-day running of our clinic.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional customer service
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries
- Coordinating appointments and managing multiple practitioners' schedules
- Processing payments, billing and other administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring patient confidentiality
- Communicating with clinicians, patients, referrers and other stakeholders
- Assisting with the smooth and efficient operation of our multidisciplinary clinic
- Working collaboratively with our reception and clinical teams

About You

We're looking for someone who is personable, reliable, organised and genuinely enjoys helping people.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Confidence using computers and learning new software

Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration is highly regarded, but not essential.

We also welcome applicants from other industries who have demonstrated excellent customer service, administration and organisational skills.

We believe that the right attitude, reliability and interpersonal skills are just as important as previous healthcare experience, and we're happy to provide training to the right person.
