This is a varied, hands-on role combining stores and warehouse duties with some product assembly. You’ll help keep the warehouse organised, maintain accurate stock records and support the smooth running of our workshop.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders
- Loading and unloading trucks and handling stock safely
- Picking and packing orders for customers and our interstate branches
- Organising freight and preparing dispatch paperwork
- Supplying parts and materials to our production team
- Maintaining stock accuracy through regular stocktakes
- Assisting with product assembly and general workshop duties as required
- Keeping the warehouse and yard clean, protected and organised
About you
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role
- A current forklift licence and experience operating a forklift
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and stock control systems
- Comfortable using hand and power tools to assist with product assembly
- A practical approach and the ability to work independently
- Reliability, clear communication and a willingness to help the team
- The ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role
- A permanent, full-time position
- $35–$40 per hour plus super, depending on experience
