Are you an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic who enjoys getting stuck into a wide range of mechanical challenges?

Tired of working on the same vehicles and performing the same repairs day after day?

At Woodlands Enterprises, no two days are quite the same

We're looking for a skilled, practical and motivated Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our Mechanical Workshop team and help keep our extensive fleet of heavy vehicles, machinery and operational equipment running at its best.

This isn't your typical mechanical workshop role. You'll have the opportunity to apply your skills across a diverse range of heavy vehicles, transport equipment, agricultural machinery and industrial plant, tackling everything from preventative maintenance to complex fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.

If you take pride in your workmanship, enjoy solving mechanical problems and want to be part of a business where your skills genuinely make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Why You'll Enjoy Working With Us

We know that a great mechanical role is about more than just turning spanners.

- Variety that keeps the job interesting – work across heavy vehicles, trucks, trailers, agricultural machinery and industrial plant rather than the same equipment every day.
- Put your diagnostic skills to work – take on challenging mechanical faults, breakdowns and repairs where your knowledge and experience really count.
- Permanent, full-time employment – enjoy the stability and security of a long-established, family-owned business.
- A hands-on and practical environment – be part of a business that values people who show initiative, solve problems and take pride in their workmanship.

- Supportive team environment – work alongside experienced colleagues who value reliability, teamwork and getting the job done safely.
- Birthday Leave – enjoy an additional day off to celebrate your birthday.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and associated vehicle system faults.
- Maintaining and repairing a broad range of heavy vehicles, transport equipment, machinery and industrial plant.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently to minimise operational downtime.
- Applying strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills to identify underlying mechanical problems and deliver reliable solutions.
- Identifying potential equipment failures and recommending preventative maintenance improvements.
