About Us

Neuralia/Cortical TMS is a private mental health service offering TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) in outpatient settings in Moonee Ponds. We work closely with psychiatrists to provide safe, non-invasive treatment to patients suffering treatment resistant depression, PTSD, chronic pain and other conditions. TMS is a treatment done in multiple sessions over 4-5 weeks, supervised by a trained technician and overseen by a psychiatrist.

We are currently recruiting nurses and/or other allied health practitioners to join our team as long‑term members. Our staff are given accredited training in TMS as well as hands‑on support and supervision from our psychiatrists.

We are seeking a reliable and committed individual who is available to work Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm to support consistent staffing within the clinic.

Your Role as a TMS Technician

You will play a critical role in the safe and effective administration of TMS treatment to patients suffering from chronic mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and explain TMS treatment to patients, primarily those with chronic depression.
- Keep meticulous clinical case notes and compile reports.




- Perform clinical risk assessments.
- Actively participate in clinical case meetings and pursue ongoing training.
- Collaborate effectively, fostering positive relations with clients, colleagues, and referring doctors.
- Patient enquiries and safety screenings prior to Treatment

Who You Are

- You hold a tertiary degree in psychology, nursing, or a related health field, paired with relevant mental health experience.
- ENs are encouraged to apply.
- You are either currently AHPRA registered or are eligible for the same.
- While experience in mental health is preferred, your maturity, sensitivity, and empathetic nature towards patients are paramount.
- You excel in attention to detail and are committed to following procedures meticulously.
- Your problem‑solving skills are top‑notch.
- Organized and self‑driven, you can function independently.
- Your interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional.
- Patient care, for you, revolves around a positive and patient‑centric experience.
