Electronic Security & AI CCTV Technician

About the role

Based from our group head office in Seven Hills, you will deliver field service work across the Sydney metropolitan area, with occasional regional and interstate travel based on business needs. You will work across commercial and residential sites, combining hands‑on technical work with customer support and system training.

What you will do

- Install, commission and service RealGuard Site Master CCTV security systems.




- Deploy and support trailer‑based mobile camera tower systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs on commercial and residential security alarm systems.
- Train clients following installation and confirm that systems meet operational and compliance requirements.
- Complete accurate service, installation and preventative maintenance documentation.
- Work closely with the service team to meet project scope, budgets and delivery timeframes.
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional RealGuard solutions where they will benefit the client.
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship, communication and customer service on every job.

What you will bring

- At least three years of field‑based technical or electronic experience.
- A current Australian driver licence and confidence driving a vehicle with a hitched trailer.
- Strong fault‑finding, analytical and practical problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.
- A willingness to continue developing your technical knowledge and career.
- Experience with electronic security, IP CCTV, Tecom, Inner Range, NESS or Bosch systems is highly regarded; additional training will be provided.

Licences and eligibility

Candidates must hold a Class 2C NSW Security Industry Licence, White Card and Open Cabling Licence, or be able to obtain them. Applicants must also have the right to work in Australia.
