About the role

We are seeking a Travel Destination Consultant to join our team at our Hampton East, VIC office on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our client experience, providing expert destination knowledge and personalised travel consultation to our clients. As a Destination Consultant, you will be responsible for transforming travel aspirations into unforgettable walking holiday experiences. This position is integral to Auswalk's success. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them through post-sale destination queries following handover from a sales consultant, as well as all other pre- and post-departure aspects of their travel journey.

Key responsibilities

- Provide expert destination knowledge and detailed information about walking routes, accommodation,



and local attractions.
- Handle inbound and outbound customer and supplier phone calls efficiently.
- Process bookings, manage reservations, and coordinate with suppliers, guides, and accommodation partners.
- Provide pre-departure support to clients, including travel documentation advice, packing recommendations, and itinerary briefings.
- Handle client enquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate client records and database management using travel management systems.
- Stay current with destination information, seasonal considerations, and industry developments to provide accurate and timely advice.
- Contribute to a cooperative team environment, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge to enhance service delivery.
