We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Project Manager to join a large organisation and take responsibility for the delivery of new facilities, refurbishment projects and commercial fit-outs.n

n This is a great chance for someone with a strong background across facilities management and project delivery, who is comfortable managing consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.n

n This is a contract opportunity offering $78 per hour + superannuation for an experienced Facilities Project Manager.n
n n
About the Role:n
n In this role, you will be responsible for providing facilities management expertise and managing the delivery of new facilities and refurbishment projects across the organisation.n
n You will:n
n

n
- Plan and prioritise facilities projects and associated support assets
n
- Work closely with internal business units and regional teams to plan and deliver facilities projects
n
- Engage and manage consultants, architects and engineers throughout the design and approval process
n
- Develop design briefs, specifications and tender documentation
n




- Manage construction and refurbishment projects from planning through to delivery
n
- Establish and manage contracts with service providers
n
- Coordinate diverse groups of consultants and contractors across major projects
n
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards
n

About Youn
n You will bring substantial experience in project management, construction and facilities management, ideally within a large commercial organisation.n
n n
n You will also have:n
n

n
- Strong experience managing consultants and contractors across large-scale projects
n
- Experience delivering office, commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
n
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
n
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and Australian Standards
n
- An understanding of OSH requirements and the ability to interpret relevant standards
n
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
n
- Advanced computer and systems skills
n
