About the role:

- Short term contract role with potential for extension
- Based in Perth, supporting laboratory operations within a busy production environment.
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm.
- Hands-on laboratory position involving sample preparation, testing, analysis, and data recording.
- Great opportunity to gain experience within a well-established Australian industrial organisation.

About your duties:

- Sample weighing, preparation, and processing.
- Perform wet chemistry procedures including digestions, titrations, and related laboratory techniques.
- Conduct analysis of samples using analytical instrumentation such as XRF.
- Accurately record and enter laboratory data.
- Assist with the maintenance and organisation of laboratory equipment and materials.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment.
- Follow laboratory procedures, quality requirements, and safety protocols.




- Support laboratory operations to ensure testing schedules and turnaround times are met.

About you:

- Previous laboratory experience within mining, minerals, cement, environmental, or industrial testing environments would be highly regarded.
- Experience performing sample preparation and wet chemistry techniques is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable performing routine and repetitive laboratory tasks.
- Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
