Job Description

Pixie Italian is an Italian restaurant located in the heart of Byron Bay, offering a dining experience centred on Italian cuisine, food, drinks and hospitality. The restaurant is currently seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager (ANZSCO 141111) for a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, coordinating staff, managing customer service standards and ensuring the efficient delivery of food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning and coordinating daily restaurant operations and service activities.
- Managing, supervising and training restaurant and front-of-house staff.
- Organising staff rosters and allocating duties to ensure effective service.
- Monitoring customer service standards and addressing customer enquiries and complaints.
- Managing reservations, seating arrangements and dining service.
- Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and consistent food and beverage service.
- Monitoring stock levels,



ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers.
- Managing operational costs, budgets and financial records.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining restaurant presentation, service quality and operational efficiency.

You Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or equivalent professional experience. At least 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant management.

Strong leadership, staff supervision and organisational skills. Sound knowledge of restaurant operations and food and beverage service. Experience with staff rostering, stock control and cost management.

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage a busy restaurant environment and resolve operational issues. Good understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.

Employment Details Job Type: Permanent / Full-time Salary: AUD $80,000 – $90,000 per annum
