Diesel Mechanic – Prime Movers Top Pay | Full-Time | North Melbourne Suburbs

Ready to work on a large, modern fleet without the uncertainty of labour-hire contracts? TRS Resourcing is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a stable, full-time operation based in clients’ workshops across Melbourne’s North Suburbs .

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows prime movers inside and out and wants long-term security, strong earning potential, and quality equipment to work on.

What’s in it for you?

1. Up to $120,000 per year (depending on experience)
2. Permanent full-time role – no temp-to-perm or labour-hire conversion

Your day-to-day will include:

1. Servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy prime movers
2. Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out corrective repairs
3. Major mechanical work, including component rebuilds
4. Working autonomously or as part of a skilled maintenance team
5. Maintaining high standards of safety, quality,



and productivity

What we’re looking for:

1. Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
2. Proven experience with prime movers, trailers, or heavy vehicles
3. Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently or within a team
4. Based in Victoria (Melbourne) or willing to relocate
5. Full Australian work rights
6. Contactable references from at least two previous employers
