Pattern – Marketing Assistant (Sydney)

We are looking for an energetic Marketing Assistant to join our Sydney team. In this fully‑time, hybrid role, you will be the front line of Pattern’s brand, managing lead generation, brand ambassadorship and event coordination to drive our growth on global e‑commerce marketplaces.

Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid – office & remote)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Generation: Own and report on lead generation activity across events, webinars, content, and email; track MQLs, booking, conversion and partnership hand‑off.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Pattern within and outside the office; support visiting guests, build team culture, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute B2B events, source venues, manage logistics, promote via email, social media and partner outreach, and attend as a company representative.
- Social Media Coordination: Support LinkedIn and Meta platform content creation; monitor engagement and propose growth strategies.
- Content Marketing & Database/Email: Create blogs, case studies,



whitepapers and grow the B2B email database; drive lead generation and event promotion.
- PR & Media Relations: Collaborate with external PR agency, submit award applications and track media coverage.

What It Takes to Thrive

- 2+ years relevant experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, partnerships, technology or a digital/full‑service agency.
- Excellent communication, networking and presenting skills; confident in an externally‑facing role.
- Proactive, organised, detail‑oriented with strong time‑management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and familiarity with CRM & email marketing platforms (e.g. Adobe Marketo).
- Australian work rights (citizen or permanent resident) required.
