A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated Radiographer to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital on a casual basis with a willingness to share on-call, including weekends and a flexibility of hours in relation to daily workloads.

As a Radiographer your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with the perioperative team on a variety of procedures and casemix

Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes

Patient registration on all equipment and ensuring data back-up

Procedural documentation

Haemodynamic monitoring for patient (training will be provided)

Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

Act as a role model for Safe Practice

Essential Criteria:

Current AHPRA Registration and EPA Radiation License

Radiation Safety

Ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Flexibility to participate in a fluctuating roster as required

ECG knowledge and Cath Lab experience (desirable)

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement

Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team

Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
