About the Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key part in the monthly reporting cycle and support the wider finance team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced retail environment. You'll work closely with the Finance Manager to keep the books accurate, meet tight reporting deadlines and provide clear insight into the business's performance. You'll also help improve how the team works.

Your Responsibilities will Include:

- Managing the month-end close process and meeting reporting deadlines
- Preparing monthly and ad-hoc journals and keeping the general ledger accurate
- Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving variances
- Producing month-end reporting and commentary for senior stakeholders
- Supporting the external audit process
- Finding and implementing improvements to finance processes
- Contributing to ad-hoc projects across the finance function

About You:

- CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion
- Prior retail experience is essential
- Robust month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail and comfortable working to tight deadlines
- Available to start at short notice
