• Ensure every stage is delivered on time, on budget, to Xircon's quality standard, and compliant with the Victorian Building Practice Code (BPC) Guide to Standards and Tolerances
• Act as the on-ground owner of safety, trades, inspections, and client-facing site experience

Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Quality
• Supervise all stages: site establishment, slab, frame, lock-up, fixing, and final handover
• Conduct stage inspections against Xircon's QC checklists and BPC tolerances; sign off only when standard is met
• Enforce "no defects passed down the line" — reject non-conforming work on the spot
• Maintain daily site diary (progress, weather, trades on site, delays, variations, instructions issued) Trades & Scheduling
• Coordinate trades, suppliers, and deliveries against the construction program
• Pre-call trades 48–72 hours before scheduled start; confirm materials, access, and prerequisites
• Resolve clashes between trades on site; escalate program slippage early (no going quiet)
• Review and approve trade work before releasing progress claims Compliance & Safety
• Enforce OH&S; on site: SWMS, inductions, PPE, exclusion zones, fall protection, electrical safety
• Keep site compliant with VBA, WorkSafe Victoria, and NCC requirements




• Coordinate private building surveyor, engineer, and council inspections at required stages
• Maintain site signage, fencing, waste management, and neighbourhood amenity standards Documentation & Systems
• Update JobTread (or current system) daily — tasks, schedule, photos, variations, checklists
• Capture stage photos and defect records against each inspection checklist
• Process variations on site through the correct variation sheet (electrical, tiling, etc.) — no verbal variations
• Submit RFIs promptly where plans, specifications, or selections are unclear Client & Stakeholder Communication
• Attend scheduled client site walks
• Communicate progress and issues clearly to the Operations Manager and office teams
• Represent Xircon professionally with neighbours, council, surveyors, and inspectors Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 5 years or plus as a Site Supervisor on residential new builds in Victoria
• Strong working knowledge of the Victorian BPC Guide to Standards and Tolerances
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings
• Proficient with construction management software (JobTread or any other system)
• Confident with mobile tools: email, Teams, photo documentation, digital checklists
