Senior Network Engineer – Managed Services | Adelaide Take ownership of complex network environments and solve the problems that require genuine senior-level expertise. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team in Adelaide. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll support customer environments, troubleshoot complex network issues and work across routing, switching, firewalls and wireless technologies. What you’ll do
• Resolve customer incidents, problems and change requests within agreed service levels
• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching and firewall issues across multi-vendor environments
• Support and maintain environments incorporating Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet and PaloAlto technologies
• Perform scheduled maintenance, upgrades and change activities
• Work with customers and technical peers to identify and recommend appropriate solutions
• Manage tickets and contribute to effective ticket queue management
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including site schematics and change control documentation
• Operate within ITIL incident, problem and change management processes
• Participate in the Managed Services Engineering on-call roster
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide high-quality technical support
• Create, maintain, and update network architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), implementation guides, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Ensure all network changes, configurations, and operational processes are accurately documented and aligned with organizational standards.




• Contribute to knowledge bases and technical repositories to support operational excellence and team collaboration.
• Mentor team members in producing high-quality technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials. What you’ll bring
• 10+ years’ experience in an IT environment
• Proven experience in a network support role
• Robust troubleshooting and analytical capability across routing, switching and firewalls
• Experience supporting Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet and PaloAlto technologies
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience with Cisco, Meraki and/or Aruba wireless technologies is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent Certifications such as CCIE or equivalent, Aruba/HP ACMP or ACSP, Meraki CMNA, Check Point CCSA , PCNSA/PCNSE or Fortinet NSE 4 would be highly regarded.
