About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst – Investment Data Management to support investment data operations, data quality management, and the integrity of investment information across multiple asset classes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing investment data throughout its lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across investment management systems. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Data Management
• Manage and maintain investment data across security master, reference data, pricing, market data, and other investment-related data domains.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of investment data across systems.
• Support the setup and maintenance of securities, financial instruments, issuers, counterparties, and other investment entities.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets. Reference Data and Security Master
• Maintain security master and investment reference data across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and other financial instruments.
• Validate security attributes such as identifiers, classifications, currencies, market information, and instrument characteristics.




• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across internal systems and external data sources.
• Coordinate with data vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve data quality issues. Data Quality and Controls
• Perform regular data quality checks and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Investigate root causes of data exceptions and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, operational controls, and audit trails.
• Identify opportunities to improve data governance, data quality standards, and operational efficiency. Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with investment operations, portfolio management, performance, risk, and technology teams.
• Liaise with external data providers to investigate and resolve data-related issues.
• Prepare operational reports, maintain issue logs, and communicate the status of data exceptions.
• Ensure service delivery meets agreed timelines, quality standards, and business requirements. Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in investment data management, financial data operations, reference data, or investment operations within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets.
• Good understanding of security master data, instrument reference data, and financial market data.
• Experience working with investment management platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, GoldenSource, SimCorp, or FactSet.
• Understanding of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and other asset classes.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
