About us
UntilNow is a product strategy, design and development studio based in Sydney. We help start-ups, scale-ups and established businesses grow through clear strategy, thoughtful design and close collaboration, across brand, UX/UI, web and app development, and AI integration. We're looking for a Project Manager who's organised, humble and self-motivated, ideally with some hands-on design experience at some point in their career. About the role
• The role starts as a contract, with the opportunity to move to full time.
• You'll own delivery and client management across a range of projects, working alongside our product designers, brand designers and engineers.
• It's a mix of project management and studio management, so no two weeks look the same.
• It's heavily client-facing, so you'll need great presentation skills and the ability to rally a team around a transparent goal.
• We operate a lot like an early-stage startup. You'll be supported where you need it, and there's plenty of room to take on opportunities beyond your formal

What you'll do
Project management
• Run brand, design and digital projects from start to finish, from briefing and scheduling through to closing out and invoicing
• Run (or be part of) project ceremonies like stand-ups, retros, showcases and stakeholder meetings
• Be the key point of contact for clients, our design team and external contractors on each of your projects
• Track scope, budgets, deliverables and client requests, and flag risks early
• Work closely with designers and engineers to keep work on schedule and built to design




• Coordinate research activities such as user interviews, prototype testing and surveys
• Collaborate closely with our Design Director on key projects
• Run weekly resource planning and project status check-ins with the team Studio management
• Keep the studio's day-to-day operations running smoothly, from tools and systems to supplies and the workspace
• Manage contractor onboarding, agreements and timesheets
• Handle invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments
• Manage team calendars, leave and resourcing across projects
• Support new business, including proposals, statements of work and client onboarding
• Organise team rituals, studio events and the little things that make UntilNow a great place to work About you
• You're a great multi-tasker and comfortable switching between multiple projects and clients at once
• You're a people person who thrives on collaboration
• You over-communicate and make sure everyone is aligned and on the same page
• You love learning. You may not have experience in every area of this role, but you're excited to grow
• You see mistakes as a chance to learn and improve
• You care about great digital products and brands across all sorts of industries
