About The Company

Infosys APAC helps organizations use technology to address complex business challenges and advance their digital capabilities. Through consulting, technology, and engineering services, Infosys teams support clients across industries as they modernize systems, improve operations, and make better use of data. This role contributes to data initiatives supporting CrewConnect and the broader People Domain, working with enterprise platforms and cloud-native technologies to deliver dependable, governed data products.

About The Role

As a Data Integration Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and interfaces connecting CrewConnect with upstream and downstream systems. You will examine existing data flows, mappings, and dependencies, then help evolve integrations to meet changing crew and resource scheduling requirements. The role covers the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, validation, deployment, and operational support.

You will work across Snowflake, DBT, AWS services, Git-based DevOps pipelines, enterprise integrations, and reporting ecosystems. In collaboration with application, product, business, and engineering teams, you will turn complex requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. Your work will support data quality, integrity, performance, and governance while following contemporary engineering practices and established controls.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

You will bring advanced SQL development and data-modelling experience, including the ability to design solutions for enterprise-scale environments. Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT is important, including transformation development, testing, documentation, and deployment.

You should have experience building scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes, as well as implementing or supporting Git-based development practices and CI/CD workflows. Familiarity with AWS services such as Amazon S3 and IAM is desirable. A solid understanding of data governance—including quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, and access controls—is essential.

You should also be comfortable investigating technical issues, analysing complex requirements, and explaining solutions to both technical and business colleagues.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable data integration pipelines and interfaces between CrewConnect and connected systems. Review current data flows, mappings, dependencies, and processing patterns to identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Translate crew and resource scheduling requirements into transparent technical designs and scalable data-engineering solutions.

Build and support data ingestion, transformation,

and validation processes, applying appropriate checks to protect accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity. Develop and maintain SQL models and DBT assets, including tests and documentation, and contribute to Snowflake data solutions. Support version control, automated deployments, and CI/CD practices through Git-based DevOps pipelines.

Monitor data and interface operations, investigate failures and quality concerns, and perform root-cause analysis with application and product teams. Help resolve performance and integration issues, communicate risks and progress, and support enhancements across enterprise reporting and integration ecosystems. Follow governance, security, access-control, and documentation standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and reusable data products.

Benefits

Infosys APAC offers an opportunity to contribute to enterprise data initiatives using modern cloud and data-engineering technologies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop your technical expertise, and work on solutions with practical impact across People Domain operations. Compensation, benefits, and development opportunities are determined by role, location, and applicable company policies.

Equal Opportunity

Infosys APAC is committed to providing a respectful and inclusive workplace. Employment decisions are made in accordance with applicable laws and based on role-related qualifications, skills, and business requirements. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
