About The Role The Finance Lead provides dedicated global finance support to Project Ascent and connected transformation initiatives, turning commitments into disciplined tracking, governance and decision-ready reporting. Based in Melbourne (preferred) with a global remit, you will report to the Head of Finance - Ascent.

Key Duties

- Own global transformation tracking models for spend, forecast, benefits and risks.
- Prepare month-end and year-end reporting and commentary for SteerCo and ELT.
- Coordinate spend approvals and apply program financial governance and controls.
- Maintain advantages registers and partner with owners to validate delivery.




- Design dashboards giving clear views of performance, benefits and risks.
- Support budget, forecast and finance transition cycles, including handovers.

Who We’re Looking For

- Strong commercial finance, FP&A;, management accounting or transformation experience.
- Proven ownership of complex financial models, trackers and forecasts.
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI or similar dashboarding tools highly desirable.
- Confident stakeholder manager who challenges constructively and follows through.
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting; CA, CPA or CIMA preferred.
- Clear communicator who turns detailed data into insights for senior leaders.
