D6 North previously known as Surgical and Orthopaedic Assessment Unit (SOAU) works is to provide excellence in multidisciplinary Surgical and Orthopaedic care to in scope patients requiring assessment, treatment, and minor procedures.
About your role: * Provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical, surgical and trauma conditions. * Deliver advanced clinical care including medications, IV therapy, wound management and specialised interventions. * Coordinate pre- and post-operative care, discharge planning and patient education. * Monitor and manage deteriorating patients, including telemetry and delirium care. * Support patients with activities of daily living while promoting recovery and independence.
