Gladstone Hospital is a 70-bed regional hospital providing essential healthcare to the Gladstone community, from emergency treatment and surgery to maternity, paediatrics and specialist inpatient care. About the role: * Oversee patient waitlists, prioritisation and bookings for elective surgery and endoscopy surveillance procedures, ensuring timely and coordinated access to care. * Manage theatre schedules, coordinate procedure dates, support pre-admission clinics and resolve booking or patient-streaming issues. * Guide and support nursing and medical teams, promoting best-practice care, professional standards and effective multidisciplinary collaboration. * Provide clinical supervision, education and mentoring to staff and students while contributing to service planning, policy development and continuous improvement. About you: * Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a current annual practising certificate. * Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-focused care. * Advanced clinical knowledge, problem-solving abilities and understanding of relevant legislation and standards.



* Experience in clinical governance, risk management and continuous quality improvement. * Excellent communication, education and mentoring skills to support staff development and evidence-based practice. What we offer:
