Core Talent are supporting an upcoming energy infrastructure project in Western Australia, that is creating an chance for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to take a leading role in coordinating engineering activities, managing technical interfaces and driving delivery across a complex project environment.
This opportunity will suit a technically strong leader who combines engineering expertise with commercial awareness, stakeholder management and the ability to bring multidisciplinary teams together to achieve project objectives.

The opportunity
Reporting into the leadership team, you will provide direction across engineering activities, ensuring technical solutions are coordinated, risks are managed and engineering deliverables align with project scope, programme, budget and quality requirements.
You will play a key role in establishing effective engineering processes, managing interfaces between disciplines and supporting successful project execution from design through to construction and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
- Manage engineering deliverables, technical specifications, design reviews and interface requirements.
- Work closely with project management, construction, procurement and commissioning teams.
- Monitor engineering progress against project schedules, budgets and delivery milestones.
- Identify and resolve technical risks, design conflicts and project delivery constraints.
- Manage relationships with engineering consultants, contractors,



vendors and key stakeholders.
- Drive compliance with relevant Australian standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams, fostering accountability and strong delivery performance.
- Contribute to project planning, reporting, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a Project Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager or equivalent senior engineering position.
- A background in energy infrastructure, power generation, utilities, renewables or major industrial projects.
- Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical interfaces.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, engineering governance, risk management and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage across technical and executive levels.
- The ability to balance technical integrity with programme, cost and commercial priorities.
