Electrical Project Engineer – Power & Energy
Core Talent are partnering with a growing power and energy contractor to recruit an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of critical electrical infrastructure projects.
This role will see you working across engineering, procurement and construction phases, supporting project delivery from design through to commissioning.
The business delivers complex power systems across sectors including data centres, defence and major infrastructure, where reliability and performance are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Support delivery of electrical and power infrastructure projects
- Assist with design coordination, technical reviews and documentation
- Work closely with project managers, site teams and engineers
- Coordinate equipment procurement and vendor engagement
- Review drawings, specifications and ensure compliance
- Support site activities, commissioning and project handover
- Manage RFIs, technical queries and project documentation




- Monitor project progress, risks and delivery priorities

About You

- Experience in an Electrical Project Engineer or similar role
- Background in power, utilities or electrical infrastructure
- Understanding of electrical systems, design and installation
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach

Highly Regarded

- Experience on data centre or critical infrastructure projects
- Exposure to commissioning processes (FAT, SAT, IST)
- Background working with contractors or EPC environments
