As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to join our Adelaide team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Service Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring the efficient preparation and delivery of new equipment to customers while overseeing repairs and maintenance of our rental fleet.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction while supporting and developing a skilled workshop team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and promote a strong safety culture, supporting TMHA's commitment to a zero-harm workplace.
- Supervise workflow and workshop operations to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate the preparation, commissioning and delivery of new equipment to customers.
- Provide leadership, coaching and technical guidance to Pre-Delivery & Workshop Technicians as well as Apprentices.
- Monitor production schedules and provide regular reporting on workshop performance and new equipment completion targets.
- Ensure the quality, safety and compliance of all work undertaken.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximise workshop productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain exceptional internal and external customer service standards.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and quality standards.

About You





To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced workshop leader who can effectively balance people management, customer expectations and operational performance.

You will bring:

- A trade qualification in material handling equipment, automotive, heavy vehicle, mechanical, agricultural equipment or a related industry.
- Previous experience supervising or leading a workshop team.
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety and best practice.
- Experience working with internal combustion engines, battery electric equipment and hydraulic systems (highly regarded).
- Sound mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong planning, organisational and time management abilities.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using ERP systems, particularly M3, will be highly regarded.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
