We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Snowflake / DBT Engineer with banking or financial-services experience to deliver scalable, reliable data transformations within a large, regulated enterprise workplace.

This opportunity suits an engineer who enjoys shaping dbt architecture, establishing reusable engineering standards and transforming legacy data solutions into modern Snowflake capabilities.

What you’ll do

- Design and develop Snowflake and dbt solutions using advanced SQL.
- Shape dbt architecture, build models and macros, and establish reusable development standards.
- Deliver data modelling and transformation engineering.
- Implement automated testing and data-quality controls.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows and promotion across environments.
- Maintain model lineage and manage dependencies.




- Support legacy-to-Snowflake transformation and data-platform modernisation.

Essential skills and experience

- Banking or financial-services experience, including work within large, regulated enterprise environments.
- Advanced hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL and dbt.
- Strong experience with dbt architecture, models, macros and reusable standards.
- Proven data modelling, transformation engineering, automated testing and data-quality experience.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, environment promotion, model lineage and dependency management.
- AWS cloud experience.
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Snowpark and Python experience.
- Teradata or other legacy data-platform modernisation experience, including transformation to Snowflake.
- Relevant Snowflake certifications.
