About Aspect

Aspect Commercial Interiors is the head contractor on every project we take on. Our jobs are commercial fitouts, typically $250k–$1M, about six months from start to handover. Specialist subcontractors do the site work, so getting scope, pricing and contracts right before site start is what makes our projects work. We have around 12 live projects now and expect 16–20 within 12 months. We’re a small team with no layers, so your work gets seen.

What you’ll do

- Turn a brief or sketch into a first-pass budget the client can react to
- Walk sites with trades and capture what needs to be priced
- Break scope into trade packages, issue tender packs, chase quotes and level them like-for-like
- Build the costing sheet and fixed-price proposal, priced to win and able to stand up to the client’s QS
- During construction, handle budget queries, scope calls, document control, the site safety plan and inductions, and the weekly project control meetings
- Close out with defect walks and handover packs

About you

- 2–3 years in preconstruction, estimating, contract admin or claims coordination, or a solid mix of site and office work
- Real site exposure. A trade background (carpentry, joinery or similar) is welcome
- Some estimating experience: you can read a scope, chase quotes and spot what’s missing. You’ll grow into full estimating here
- Calm under pressure, and comfortable running a meeting with a QS, PM or architect in the room
- Commercial background preferred. Strong residential or insurance-builder people moving into commercial are welcome
- White Card, confident with Microsoft 365, and you already use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or similar) in your work
