Role Description The Trade Assistant – Pump & Misting System Installation & Service is a full-time, in office role based in Malaga, WA. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of high-pressure misting and fogging systems at client sites and in the workshop. The role involves handling pumps, fittings, and associated equipment, using power tools safely, and supporting tradespeople with system setup, testing, and troubleshooting. The Trade Assistant will help prepare materials, load and unload equipment, keep work areas clean and organized, and follow all safety procedures. The position also includes interacting with customers in a professional manner, answering basic questions about systems, and supporting the team to deliver reliable, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with installations, commissioning, repairs, maintenance, and system assembly.
• Support troubleshooting, fault diagnosis,



and equipment testing.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
• Pack parts and systems for installation or dispatch.
• Provide basic customer guidance on system operation.
• Uphold WHS standards and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Assist with stock accountability and monitoring inventory levels. About You
• Practical mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Current driver's licence (required).
• Current National Police Clearance.
• White Card.
• Working at Heights, EWP and Confined Space Certificates (advantageous). Benefits
