We are seeking a dedicated and detail-driven Sales and Administration colleague to support our growing operations for domestic and industrial electrical equipment. This full-time role is perfect for someone comfortable juggling admin duties and assisting purchasing, quoting, and basic accounting tasks – all while keeping things humming with Microsoft Office 365. Our company is part of an international group of companies with over 200 subsidiaries worldwide. This gives us the benefits of a robust group behind us, while staying independent and local. Our Port Kembla site is shared with another group member so whilst you will be working as part of a small team for Backer Wilson Elements, you will be surrounded by up to 20 colleagues from the other company. Your

key responsibilities
will be;
• Communication with customers on order status, delivery lead times and any other commercial matters.
• Prepare and manage quotes for clients on standard items whilst supporting colleagues from sales on bespoke equipment.




• Together with colleagues from other companies, liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure reliable, cost-effective sourcing.
• Assist in procurement of parts and materials, placing orders and manage delivery timelines.
• Perform general office duties, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and managing records.
• Prepare payroll, accounts receivable and payable.
• Support accounting functions, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and monitoring expenses
• Assist external financial advisors with input for reporting, tax returns and annual reporting
• Create reports, presentations, and documentation using Microsoft Office 365 tools.
• Greet visitors, clients, and technicians in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to streamline administrative workflows.
