Role Description This is a contract role for a Test & Evaluation Engineer / Practitioner supporting the LAND 4140 Program within the Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). The role is based in Melbourne, with onsite working requirement. The successful candidate will coordinate and deliver Test & Evaluation (T&E;) activities while supporting the Platform Integration Team in the design, integration, testing and installation of C4 systems onto Army platforms. Working closely with Defence stakeholders, project managers and industry partners, you will contribute across both T&E; and systems engineering disciplines to ensure capability outcomes are delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with Defence governance requirements. Qualifications
• Test & Evaluation Practitioner Qualification (Mandatory)
• Engineering Degree (Mandatory)
• Defence T&E; Accreditation (Desirable)
• Minimum 3 years' recent Defence industry experience in Test & Evaluation
• Strong understanding of Defence T&E; frameworks, policies, processes and governance




• Experience developing and maintaining Test & Evaluation Strategies (TES), Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and associated artefacts
• Understanding of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) and Defence capability lifecycle
• Experience supporting or conducting PT&E;, DT&E;, AT&E;, OT&E; and In-Service T&E; activities
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Verification & Validation (V&V;) and technical certification processes
• Experience preparing engineering documentation, technical assessments and certification plans
• Mechanical engineering, integration and design review experience highly regarded
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities in a complex Defence environment What Is On Offer
