Hands on Support to Finance Manager Career Opportunity for Chartered 1st mover OR Experienced Financial Accountants Norwest Location with on-site parking Campbell Property Group (CPG), one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies, is looking for an experienced CA/CPA qualified Financial Accountant to join our team at our Norwest Head Office. A newly created opportunity, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the organisation’s financial records and delivering timely, reliable financial reporting. You will also be responsible for the day to day financial operations of the business including decision-making by providing financial analysis and insights, monitoring business and project performance, maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, company policies and regulatory obligations. What you will do? As the Financial Accountant, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager and you will:
• Supervise the Accounts Payable team ensuring the team operates in an effective and efficient manner
• Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting
• Develop and assess project feasibility, including financial modelling, risk analysis, and return projections to drive project success
• Assist with financial strategy development aligned to business objectives, identifying risks and opportunities to drive profitability and performance improvement
• Oversee all finance operations, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability
• Track project performance, including actual vs budgeted costs,



cash flow, and profitability, identifying and communicating key variances and drivers to support decision make to ensure projects are financially viable
• Identify and assess financial risks within project performance and cost management activities, escalating key risks and supporting mitigation planning
• Oversee internal controls, financial governance, and risk management processes, ensuring financial risks are mitigated across projects About you? We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
• CPA or CA
• In-depth understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial modelling, project feasibility analysis, risk assessment and cash flow management
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, accounting standards, tax implications, and corporate reporting obligations within the construction industry
• Strategic and commercial mind set, ensuring operational decisions align with business goals
