We’re seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer / Technical Lead to drive platform implementation, establish secure and scalable environments, and support data-platform modernisation within a large, regulated enterprise.

What you’ll do

- Lead hands-on Snowflake platform implementation from the ground up.
- Design, configure and administer Snowflake accounts and environments.
- Manage virtual warehouses, workloads and resource monitoring.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC), security,



authentication and access controls.
- Establish networking, connectivity, monitoring and auditing capabilities.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimise platform performance and resource usage.
- Provide technical direction and engineering guidance while remaining hands-on.

Essential skills and experience

- Proven hands-on Snowflake platform engineering and implementation experience.
- Banking or financial-services experience, including work within large, regulated enterprise environments.
- Strong AWS experience.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowpark/Python.
- Experience with Teradata or legacy data-platform modernisation.
- Relevant Snowflake certifications.
- Ability to lead technical delivery while contributing directly to implementation and troubleshooting.
