MARS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a 12-week contract at Tennant Creek Hospital in the Northern Territory.

With a competitive base rate of $85.00-$90.00 per hour PLUS attractive shift penalties, this is an excellent opportunity to boost your earnings over the Christmas and New Year period while gaining valuable remote nursing experience.

The Opportunity

- Location: Tennant Creek Hospital, Northern Territory

- Start Date: ASAP

- Contract Duration: 12 weeks

- Base Pay: $85.00-$90.00 per hour + shift penalties

- Roster: Rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays

- Availability: Christmas and New Year coverage highly desirable

About the Role

You'll be joining the Emergency Department at Tennant Creek Hospital, providing essential emergency healthcare services to a diverse regional and remote community.

This is a fantastic chance for an experienced ED Nurse who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is confident managing acute and emergency presentations.

You'll be working alongside a dedicated healthcare team, putting your emergency nursing skills to good use while experiencing life in the heart of the Northern Territory.

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you'll need:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Minimum 3 years' acute Emergency Department experience

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) competency





- Strong resuscitation and emergency management skills

- Current Triage Certificate and demonstrated triage competency

- Competency in Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV)

- Confidence working within a regional or remote hospital environment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Diphtheria vaccination (Boostrix/Adacel) within the past 5 years, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement

- Ability to meet NT Health compliance requirements
