Enterprise M365 Migrations | M&A; Integration | Project Delivery

We are seeking an immediately available and experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Solution/Migration Engineer for an initial four-month contract with a large, publicly listed organisation undergoing significant growth through ongoing acquisitions. As the organisation continues to acquire and integrate new businesses, you will play a key role in migrating their Microsoft 365 environments into an established enterprise platform.

This is a hands-on, project-focused opportunity where you will take ownership of complex migrations from initial discovery and planning through to execution, cutover and post-migration support (hypercare).

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Exchange Online (Email), SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive migration planning, execution and hypercare.
- Deliver complex Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, integrating acquired businesses into an existing enterprise environment.
- Assess existing environments, identify technical dependencies and develop migration strategies, timelines and cutover plans.
- Manage migration waves, coexistence configurations, data validation and post-migration troubleshooting.
- Utilise Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) to execute tenant-to-tenant migrations.
- Develop automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to streamline migration activities.
- Collaborate with identity, network, endpoint, security and compliance teams to ensure successful integrations.
- Provide technical guidance to a small team of engineers where required.
- Develop migration documentation, runbooks and repeatable processes to support future acquisitions.

About You

- 6+ years' hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 engineering and migration delivery.
- Proven experience delivering tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange Online, Teams,



SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange hybrid environments, mail routing, coexistence and migration cutovers.
- Hands-on experience with Quest On Demand Migration (ODM).
- Strong PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 security and compliance.
- Experience managing complex enterprise migrations with minimal business disruption.
- Previous mergers and acquisitions (M&A;) integration experience will be highly regarded.
