Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Azure & DevOps - Immediate Start

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a large organisation undergoing a significant technology transformation following a merger. They are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an initial 4-month contract duration to support cloud compliance, infrastructure optimisation and the migration of Azure DevOps.

This is a hands-on technical role working across Azure, cloud security and on-premise infrastructure, helping to consolidate and improve systems across the newly merged business.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Azure cloud compliance, security and remediation activities.
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities using Nessus.
- Lead the design, planning and migration of Azure DevOps.
- Assist with cloud and compute infrastructure decisions across VMware vSphere, Rubrik and Veeam.
- Review existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to security, performance and reliability.
- Support the integration and consolidation of technology environments following the merger.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to deliver technical improvements.

Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience designing, managing or migrating Azure DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with Nessus or similar vulnerability scanning tools.




- Understanding of VMware vSphere and virtualised infrastructure.
- Exposure to Rubrik and/or Veeam backup and recovery solutions.
- Experience supporting infrastructure migrations, integrations or transformation projects.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
