End User Computing (EUC) Engineer / Technical Coordinator

Contract: 3-4-month contract duration

The Company

Our client is a large, established organisation undertaking an end-user computing refresh and technology integration project. They are seeking a hands-on EUC Engineer / Technical Coordinator to support the rollout of approximately 175 laptops, alongside Microsoft 365 administration and infrastructure setup.

The Role

This is a hands-on technical role focused on laptop imaging, configuration, deployment and end-user migration. You will be responsible for preparing and deploying new devices, supporting employees through the transition and ensuring systems and applications are configured correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the rollout and deployment of approximately 170-175 laptops.
- Image, configure, stage and deploy Windows devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Assist with the laptop refresh program, replacing existing devices with new machines.
- Manage end-user cutovers, ensuring a smooth transition to new laptops.
- Perform Microsoft 365 administration and support Teams and SharePoint migrations.
- Configure and deploy applications through Intune, including application packaging and troubleshooting.
- Support device enrolment, user profiles and access requirements.
- Assist with basic network connectivity checks, including connecting network ports and verifying link lights.
- Coordinate daily device deployments, testing and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with internal IT teams to resolve technical issues during the rollout.

Your Profile

You will have previous experience in Desktop Support, End User Computing or IT Deployment roles, with strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft technologies.





Key Skills & Experience:

- Experience in EUC, Desktop Support or laptop deployment projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 imaging, configuration and device deployment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Windows Autopilot.
- Experience with application packaging, installation and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of device migrations and end-user cutover activities.
- Basic networking knowledge, including connectivity testing and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to support end users throughout a device rollout.
