Senior Data Analyst | SuccessFactors / SAP S/4HANA

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a small team supporting a global mining company’s People Transformation and SuccessFactors optimisation program.

This is a hands-on role working with complex datasets across multiple SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ECC systems. You will help establish accurate, consistent and reliable data to support system configuration, process standardisation and ensure reliable business decisions.

The role

- Extract, consolidate, manipulate and analyse large datasets from SuccessFactors and related enterprise systems.
- Identify and investigate data anomalies, inconsistencies, duplicates and gaps, working with business and technical teams to resolve their underlying causes.
- Reconcile employee, position and organisational data across sources, including effective-dated records and organisational hierarchies.
- Develop repeatable data cleansing, transformation and validation processes, with clear documentation and traceability.
- Support testing and validate data outcomes following system configuration and process changes.
- Translate complex findings into clear insights and practical recommendations.
- Apply contemporary data tools and AI capabilities to improve efficiency and analytical quality,



while independently validating outputs and maintaining data confidentiality.

What you will bring

- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in data management, extraction, manipulation and analysis, including substantial hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors or SAP S/4HANA.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential. Experience with Power Query, SQL, Power BI, Python and other AI tools to analyse and manipulate complex datasets would be highly regarded.

- Demonstrated experience engaging senior stakeholders, facilitating meetings and building consensus across business and technical teams to agree practical solutions and resolve data issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical problems in clear, accessible language, articulate business impacts and present recommendations to non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong critical eye: you question unexpected results, recognise patterns and pursue inconsistencies through to resolution.
- A proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver accurate results under pressure.
- A cooperative, positive approach to working within a small team.
- Previous experience in mining or a complex global organisation is preferred.
