The RoleWe're looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to lead technical delivery across client projects and help build the internal engineering platform that powers Applied Intelligence.

This is a foundational engineering hire with significant ownership and autonomy. You'll work directly with our founder to architect and deliver production-grade applications, and take the lead in building our internal AI-native software factory: the tools, infrastructure, standards and workflows that allow us to build and manage bespoke software at scale.

We're looking for someone who combines strong engineering fundamentals with a genuine passion for how AI is transforming software development.

What You'll Do

- Own client projects end-to-end: Lead technical architecture, development, deployment and ongoing reliability of bespoke AI applications across multiple industries.
- Build our software factory: Design and implement reusable application templates, shared infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks and development workflows.
- Pioneer AI-native engineering: Leverage tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Amp and Cursor to radically improve software development speed, quality and scalability.
- Set technical standards: Establish best practices for architecture, security, observability, code quality and production operations across our portfolio of applications.
- Solve complex integration challenges: Connect frontier AI models with enterprise systems, databases,



APIs and existing business workflows.
- Lead technical delivery: Review code, guide contract engineers and make pragmatic architectural decisions that balance speed, quality and maintainability.

What We're Looking For

- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of independently architecting and shipping production software.
- Strong full-stack engineering capabilities with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js.
- Deep experience with cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs, security, CI/CD and production operations.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or Amp in real development workflows.
- Experience designing reusable platforms, developer tooling, shared infrastructure or scalable engineering systems.
- Strong technical judgement and the ability to balance rapid delivery with long-term maintainability.
- High autonomy, ownership mentality and the ability to lead projects and other engineers without heavy oversight.
- A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to solving real business problems.
