About the role

Coin Capital is seeking a Mortgage Broker to join our growing team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a full-time position based in Perth WA 6000. As a Mortgage Broker, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complex mortgage landscape and secure the best financing solutions for their property purchases and refinancing needs. You will be the bridge between clients and lenders, providing expert advice and managing the entire mortgage application process to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

- Meet with clients to understand their financial situations, property requirements and borrowing goals

- Manage existing clients of the firm and from time to time assist current broker with applications

- Assess client eligibility and determine suitable loan products from our panel of lenders

- Provide professional financial advice on mortgage options, interest rates, and loan structures

- Prepare and submit mortgage applications to lenders on behalf of clients

- Liaise with lenders, valuers, solicitors and other parties to facilitate smooth loan processing

- Review loan documents and explain terms and conditions to clients

- Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business

- Stay current with industry changes, lending criteria, and market conditions

- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the mortgage broking business

What we're looking for





- Valid Australian Mortgage Broking Licence (or eligibility to obtain one) or equivalent financial services qualification

- Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage broking, lending, or related financial services role

- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending criteria, and the Australian property market

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly

- Proven ability to build client relationships and generate business through referrals and networking

- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines

- Proficiency with mortgage broking software and Microsoft Office applications

- Understanding of responsible lending obligations and regulatory compliance in the financial services industry

- Demonstrated customer service excellence and problem-solving abilities

- Full Australian driving licence (desirable)
